Her designs seem to live an out-of-the ordinary existence. From the sweet, tea party concept, the girls on Happy Andrada A/W 15 collection has gone wild. I mean literally, embracing the chic aboriginal look. Incantation has been the name for this, summoning the power of cultural influence in the 21st century. The fabrics from Benguet which are in solid tones of earth blue, gray, old rose and cinnamon. Stripes are embedded to give that ethnic feeling with accessories resembling animal skeletons.

Unlike before when tribal dress codes would require less fabric, the collection has offered over sized blazers ideal for trendy corporate look or to give that warm feel. Some pieces such as the form fitting dress and skirts with stripes gives an illusion of elongation. Not to mention, everything on the runway is clean and perfectly tailored.

Modernizing the wardrobe of Pocahontas and Wilma Flintstones for the sake of our closet is an exact place of enjoyment. We’ll Ms. Happy never failed to fuel a representation of an up to date woman, who is adventurous even looking backwards in our natural habitat.

Below are the runway images from her show on Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2014. All runway photos are taken by me. Kindly credit me and my blog whenever you wish to use the images.

Bless the models!
